How funds are used
Charitable funds support the Foundation's Mental Health Access program: free caregiver psychoeducation workshops, bilingual mental health resource kits, care navigation for families, and, as funds allow, reducing the cost of psychological evaluations and treatment for families who cannot otherwise afford them. The Foundation is designed to operate at low overhead by working through partner schools, clinics, and organizations.
Relationship with Amlea Behavioral Healthcare
Carry Good Forward Foundation is the charitable foundation of Amlea Behavioral Healthcare, a behavioral healthcare practice. They are distinct entities with distinct purposes. Amlea provides clinical services to its patients. The Foundation is a charitable organization that expands access to care through education, resources, navigation, and charitable funding. Gifts to the Foundation are contributions to its programs; they are not payment for Amlea's services, and they do not entitle anyone to services. The Foundation does not itself provide clinical services. Where the Foundation helps reduce the cost of an evaluation or treatment, the service is delivered by a licensed provider, which may include partner practices.
Status, financials, and governance documents
The Foundation is newly formed. Information about its legal status, federal tax-exempt status, financial statements, annual filings, bylaws, and conflict-of-interest policy is available to donors, funders, and partners on request, and this page will be updated as annual information becomes available. Please contact boardofdirectors@carrygoodforward.com. For questions about the tax treatment of a gift, consult your own tax advisor.
Privacy of the families we serve
The Foundation does not publish names, stories, photographs, or any identifying information about the families it hears from or helps, and it does not share their information with donors, sponsors, or partners.
