Our Mission
Better Minds Strengthen Communities.
Carry Good Forward Foundation works to expand access to mental health care, regardless of financial circumstances, with a focus on psychological testing and psychotherapy for people and families who face barriers to care.
The mission
To expand access to mental health care, regardless of financial circumstances, so that people and families who need a psychological evaluation, psychotherapy, or simply a clear path to help can find it.
What we heal today, we carry differently tomorrow.
This is the idea the Foundation is built on. Mental health needs that go unmet in one generation do not disappear; they become the baseline the next generation inherits. A child who is evaluated and understood early, a caregiver who learns what they are seeing and what to do about it, a family that finally reaches a provider it can afford: each of these changes what gets carried forward.
Better minds strengthen communities.
Access to mental health care is not only a private good. Classrooms, workplaces, congregations, and neighborhoods all grow steadier when the people in them are supported. That is why the Foundation works through the institutions families already trust, such as schools, pediatric clinics, and community organizations, rather than in isolation.
Four pillars, one purpose
- Mental Health Access. Education so families recognize what they are seeing, resources so they know where to turn, and care navigation so they actually get there. Where funding allows, help reducing the cost of care for families who cannot otherwise afford it.
- Stronger Families. Support for the caregivers and children at the center of every story of recovery.
- Healthier Communities. Prevention and resilience, built through legitimate local partnerships.
- Generations Forward. A commitment to the long view in everything we design and fund.
How we hold ourselves to it
The Foundation is a new organization and says so plainly. It does not promise services it cannot deliver, publish numbers it cannot support, or present partnerships that do not exist. It tracks what it does and will report results as its programs are delivered. See Impact and Transparency.
Carry good forward with us.
Every gift, partnership, and hour of volunteer time helps close the distance between needing support and receiving it.
