Our Programs

The Foundation's program work is organized around one program, Mental Health Access, with three components, and two access pathways it is built to open: psychological testing and psychotherapy.

Mental Health Access program

Designed for Central Texas families who would otherwise go without care, the program has three components:

  1. Psychoeducation workshops. Free sessions for parents and caregivers on topics such as childhood anxiety, ADHD, trauma, and managing stress at home, led by licensed clinicians and hosted at partner schools and community sites.
  2. Resource kits. Bilingual (English and Spanish) mental health resource guides distributed through schools, pediatric clinics, and community organizations, covering warning signs, how to ask for help, local low-cost options, and crisis lines.
  3. Care navigation. One-on-one help for families to understand their options, prepare for appointments, and connect to affordable evaluation and treatment, including, as funding allows, reduced-cost psychological evaluations for children whose families cannot otherwise afford them.

What the Foundation is, and is not. Carry Good Forward Foundation is a charitable foundation. It provides education, resources, and care navigation, and directs charitable funds toward access to care as funding allows. Clinical services such as psychological evaluations and psychotherapy are delivered by licensed providers, including partner practices, not by the Foundation itself. Assistance is never guaranteed and depends on available funding, partner capacity, and each family's situation.

Programs grow with support.

Workshops, resource kits, and reduced-cost evaluations are funded by donors and partners. Help expand what the Foundation can offer.
