Impact

Kinder. Stronger. Forward.

We measure impact in people, not just numbers. As a newly formed foundation, we are committed to reporting honestly what our programs deliver, and to publishing results here as they accrue.

What carrying good forward looks like

  • People reached with mental health education and resources.
  • Families supported toward stability and care.
  • Communities strengthened through prevention and partnership.

What we track

For the Mental Health Access program, the Foundation tracks:

  • Caregivers attending psychoeducation workshops (sign-in records).
  • Resource kits distributed, by partner site (distribution log).
  • Families receiving care navigation (case log).
  • Families connected to an evaluation or treatment (follow-up after 30 days).
  • Caregiver knowledge and confidence before and after workshops (pre/post survey).

What we will publish

The Foundation is at the beginning of its work and does not yet have program results to report. It will not publish estimates in place of results. As workshops are held, kits are distributed, and families are connected to care, totals will be published on this page, without identifying any family. Donors and funders who need reporting on a specific gift or grant can contact howdy@carrygoodforward.com.

The long view

The outcomes that matter most, a child understood earlier, a caregiver equipped sooner, a family that reaches care instead of giving up, are not captured in a single year's count. The Foundation's four pillars, Mental Health Access, Stronger Families, Healthier Communities, and Generations Forward, describe the change it is working toward over time.

“What we heal today, we carry differently tomorrow.”

Carry good forward with us.

Every gift, partnership, and hour of volunteer time helps close the distance between needing support and receiving it.
