Community Partners
The Foundation works through the places families already trust. If you serve children and families in Central Texas, there is a way to work together.
Who we partner with
- Schools and school districts, especially counselors and family engagement staff.
- Pediatric and family medicine practices and community clinics.
- Community organizations, libraries, and faith communities.
- Adoption, foster care, kinship, and permanency organizations that support families formed through adoption or caregiving.
- Other nonprofits and healthcare organizations working on mental health access.
Ways to work together
- Host a workshop. Provide a room and help spread the word; the Foundation brings a licensed clinician and the materials. Workshops are free to attend.
- Distribute resource kits. Keep bilingual mental health guides on hand to give families at the moment they need them.
- Refer families. Point a family that needs an evaluation or therapy, and cannot afford it, to Get Help.
- Co-design. Tell the Foundation what your families are asking for; workshop topics and guide content are shaped by partners.
How partnerships are handled
Partnerships are voluntary and agreed on together. The Foundation does not name an organization as a partner without its agreement, and it does not collect or share personal information about families beyond what is needed to help them.
